SSC full form is “Staff Selection Commission“.
It is a Government of India organization that is responsible to recruit staff for Group B (non-gazetted – technical & non-technical) and Group C (non-technical) posts in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and in Subordinate Offices under central government departments.
It was formerly known as Subordinate Services Commission
Established in 1975, SSC has it’s headquarter is in New Delhi and has 9 regional offices and sub-offices to assist for the various examination conducted by the Staff selection commission.
