What is IBPS RRB Exam?
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection-Regional Rural Bank abbreviated as IBPS RRB is a national level competitive exam conducted by IBPS on behalf of participating banks to recruit the Scale I, II, and III Officers for Regional Rural Banks in India.

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2020

The exam pattern of Office Assistant and Officer Grade posts is different, so it is advised to check the complete exam pattern according to the posts you want to apply for.
(1)- IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam Pattern
IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2020 Exam will be conducted in two phases:
There will be no interview for the Office Assistant post and marks obtained only in Main Exam will be considered for the final Merit list.
(i)- Office Assistant Preliminary Exam Pattern:
There are two sections in Office Assistant Preliminary Exam-Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.
80 questions will be asked carrying a total of 80 marks. The total time duration will be 45 minutes. There is no sectional cut-off in the office assistant preliminary exam.
(ii)- Office Assistant Mains Exam Pattern:
There will be five sections in Office Assistant Main Exam. Candidates will have to attempt 200 questions carrying a total of 200 marks in 2 hours’ time period.
There is sectional cut off in the main exam and candidates will have to secure minimum qualifying marks for each section.
(2)- IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I Exam Pattern
IBPS RRB Officer Scale-1 2020 exam will be conducted in three phases.
IBPS RRB Preliminary Exam Pattern for Officers Scale-I
Preliminary exam pattern of Officers Scale is same like Office Assistant.
IBPS RRB Mains Exam Pattern for Officers Scale I
It is also the same as the Office Assistant Main Exam pattern. Sectional cut off will also be there as decided by the examination authority.
(3)- IBPS RRB Exam Officers Scale-II (General Banking Officer) Exam Pattern
There will be a single exam and interview.

There would be some questions related to the financial and banking domain in the objective tests. A sectional cut off will be there.

IBPS RRB online application 2020 step by step process
Candidates can apply online for all posts by visiting the official website i.e. ibps.in. A candidate can apply for both the office assistant or Officer Scale positions.
However, in Officer Scale positions a candidate can apply for only one Officer Scale position like Officer Scale-I or Officer Scale-II(General Banking Officer) or Officer Scale-II(Specialist Cadre) or Officer Scale-III.

(i)- Visit official website
Please visit the official website ibps.in and click on the “CRP RRBs” link on the left side. In the next window click on the “Common Recruitment Process-Regional Rural Bank Phase IX” link.
(ii)- Choose Exam
Now click on the appropriate link to your choice of posts as given in the below image.
(iii)- First Time Registration
Now click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” and register yourself on the ibps website by providing basic information like name, mobile number, email id.
Candidates will get a provisional registration number and password after a successful registration. Please note down the registration number and password for the next steps.
(iv)- Login Again
Now again go to the home page and log in using your registration number and password received in 3rd step.
(v)- Filling All Details and click on “Final Submit” button
Now complete the registration providing all necessary information and click on save and next button every time.
Candidates will have to upload some important documents like Photograph, Signature, Left thumb impression, A handwritten declaration
(vi)-Fee Payment
After clicking on the final submit button a payment window will open. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
(vii)- After Final Submit
After Final Submit, an additional page of the application form is displayed wherein candidates may follow the instructions and fill in the requisite details.
On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee details.

IBPS RRB Admit Card/Call Letter:
A call letter/admit card will be issued by IBPS from time to time. There will be a different admit card/call letter for each exam and interview.
Candidates can download the admit card by visiting official website ibps.in.
No hard copy of the call letter/ Admit Card will be sent by post/ courier. Candidates will get an email and an SMS on a registered mobile number.
