Update Feb 3, 2020: SBI Clerk Admit Card 2020 for pre-exam training has been released by the State Bank of India. If you have opted for pre-exam training by SBI then you may download the admit card from February 4 to February 15 from the official website.
This pre-exam training by SBI is conducted only for the candidates for SC/ST/ Religious Minority Category candidates.

1. What is the SBI Clerk Exam?
State Bank of India-Clerk Exam abbreviated as SBI Clerk exam is a national level competitive exam conducted by SBI to recruit candidates for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) all over India.
The selection process in SBI Clerk is based on the Preliminary and Main examination. One candidate can apply only to one state.

The last date for online registration was January 26, 2020.

SBI Clerk eligibility criteria 2020
Please find below details about the SBI Clerk eligibility criteria for the 2020 exam.
A. Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2020)
Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.01.2020, i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1992 and no later than 01.01.2000 (both days inclusive).
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
NOTE: Candidates seeking age relaxation are required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of joining if qualified.
B. SBI Clerk Qualification 2020: (As on 01.01.2020)
A candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Candidates pursuing the final year of their Graduation may also apply but they will have to submit graduation pass proof on or before 01.01.2020.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern and selection process
The SBI Clerk Exam Pattern will be a three stage process.
Phase-I: Prelims Exam Pattern:
SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks and will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:
Important points for SBI Clerk Prelims 2020:
- Each test will have separate timing as mentioned above.
- There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests and 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- There is no sectional cut off in SBI Clerk Preliminary exam.
Candidates around 10 times the number of vacancies will be shortlisted for the SBI Clerk Main Exam.

- Each test will have separate timing as mentioned above.
- The question paper will be in both English & Hindi language except for the General English test.
- There will be negative marking and 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks on aggregate.
- There will be no sectional cut off.
Test of specified opted local language:
Those who qualify for selection and produce the 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate including the proof of studied the specified local language will not be subjected to any Language test.
In the case of others who qualified for selection will have to attempt local language after provisional selection but before joining.

Marks secured in the Main examination will only be counted in the preparation of the Final Merit list.

Candidates can visit the bank’s official website and apply online. Visit https://sbi.co.in/web/careers/current-openings (check below image), scroll down, and click on the red blinking text ” (Apply Online from 03.01.2020 to 26.01.2020)” and again click on apply online just below that.
Register yourself on Bank website
Candidates will be required to register themselves online through Bank Website. On registration page (see below image) click on the yellow color link “Click here for New Registration” on the top right corner.
Fill online application form
Now a new page will come(see below image). Here you will have to fill all the details to complete the registration process for SBI Clerk 2020. Fill all the parts (Basic Info, Photo & Signature, Details, Preview, Payment) and click on save and next button(lower right corner) each time
Online fee payment
After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.
Fee for General/OBC/EWS category is 750 rs and there is no fee for other categories.
