Staff Selection Commission is the premier institute of the Indian Government which helps to streamline the recruitment process for the central government posts. Staff Selection Commission is responsible to manage the central government Group C and Group D recruitment.
To make the overall recruitment process smooth and easy SSC established its regional network which helps the Staff Selection Commission in the region-wise recruitment for all posts.
SSC network consists of SSC headquarter based in New Delhi, 7 regional offices based at Allahabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore, and 2 sub-regional offices based at Raipur and Chandigarh. All SSC offices have different websites and helpline numbers to help applicants. All regional SSC department is headed by the regional director.

The release of the official notification and Online application process is managed by the Staff Selection Commission’s main headquarter. All candidates choose a region when they fill their online application.
