Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation is inviting applications for the Junior Engineer posts for multiple locations in Uttar Pradesh. Pay Scale:

All selected candidates will get a salary as per the 7th Pay commission  {Pay Matrix level-7; Rs.  44,900/- (minimum  level in revised pay matrix)}. Dearness and other allowances admissible as per rules of UPPCL.

Eligibility Criteria

1-Educational Qualification

For Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electrical:

A candidate must have passed :-

  • Three-year diploma in Electrical engineering awarded from the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent diploma OR
  • Three years All India diploma examination in Electrical engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt of India. OR
  • Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by any of the universities of India incorporated by the act of the Central/ State legislature.

For Junior Engineer (Trainee) Electronics /Tele-Communication:

A candidate must have passed :-

  • Three-year diploma in Electronics /Tele-Communication awarded from the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or any equivalent diploma OR
  • Three years All India diploma examination in Electronics /Tele-Communication engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt of India. OR
  • Diploma examination in Electronics /Tele-Communication Engineering conducted by any of the universities of India incorporated by the act of the Central/ State legislature.

2-Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2Q20. Reservation in Age limit is also applicable as per the existing government rules of reservation.

Exam Pattern

Selection will be based on the performance in the Computer based test only.

Computer based test will consist the objective type of questions. Please check below details. There will be a total of 200 questions carrying 200 marks and candidates will have to attempt the test in 3 hours duration.

  • Now click on the apply online link.
  • Follow all instructions and complete the application form.
  • Pay the required application fee.
  • Finally, take a print-out of the application form and fee receipt.
