UPSC CDS Exam Syllabus 2021 for IMA, AFA, and INA
Syllabus for Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Indian Naval Academy is same. It will consist of three parts i.e. English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics.
OTA Syllabus
CDS OTA Syllabus is different from IMA, AFA, and INA. CDS OTS Syllabus will consist of only English and General Knowledge. The Elementary Mathematics part is not there in the Syllabus

Syllabus of Elementary Mathematics will be similar to the matriculation level Mathematics exam. Syllabus for all other subjects will be similar to any Indian University Graduation level exam.

ENGLISH Subject
The question paper will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of English and workmanlike use of words.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
General questions on the History and Geography subjects which do not require any special kind of preparation. Questions based on current events and general awareness of the candidates. General knowledge questions are just to check the candidate’s observation power and common understanding and how he develops his technical knowledge based on the current news and events.
