RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria:

Age (as on 01.12.2019)
Between 20 and 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/12/1991 and not later than 01/12/1999 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit for RBI Assistant Exam 2019 :
Upper age limit will be relaxed as under:

Candidates seeking age relaxation are required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of document verification.
RBI Assistant Educational Qualifications (as on 01.12.2019):
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in order to qualify for the RBI Assistant exam. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the 50% marks criteria.
- Candidates must have knowledge of the local language of the recruiting office they wish to apply to.
RBI Assistant Exam 2020 Application Fee:
Candidates can pay the application fee from 23.12.2019 to 16.01.2020 (Online payment)

Staff candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee and intimation charges.

RBI Assistant Salary and allowances:

Selected candidates will be initially posted in RBI’s office within the Recruitment Zone for which they had applied.
However, they are liable to be transferred in administrative exigencies to centers grouped and classified into West, South, North and East Zone offices as under:

RBI Assistant Selection Process 2020:
Selection Process for RBI Assistant exam 2020 will be done through three type of exams.
- (i)-RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination
- (ii)-RBI Assistant Main Examination
- (iii)-RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
(i)-RBI Assistant Prelims Exam (Multiple Choice):
There will be three section in RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination such as English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

III. Language Proficiency Test (LPT) –
All candidates who qualify for the online-main examination will have to attend a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Language Proficiency Test will check the candidate’s understanding of the local regional language for the place he applied for.
Candidates will be disqualified if they fail to clear the LPT round. Only those candidates who get the minimum cut off marks set by theRBI will be called for the language proficiency test.

How to apply for RBI Assistant 2020 Exam:
Candidates can apply online only from 23.12.2019 to 16.01.2020 and no other mode of application will be accepted.

b) RBI Assistant 2020 Online Application Process:
Step-1. Candidates may go to the RBI website and click on the option “Recruitment for the post of Assistant” which will open a new screen.
Step-2. To register the application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
Step- 3. Again loging by using registration no. and password and complete the online application process, upload all required documents, and pay the online application fee.
