16th December 2020: UPSC has released the Combined Defence Services 2 2020 exam result officially. A total of 6727 candidates qualified in the exam for the next steps of the selection process. Check all details below.
2nd November 2020: UPSC has released the Officers Training Academy (OTA) result also for the Combined Defence Services 2 2019 exam. A total of 241 candidates qualified in the exam to get admission to Officers Training Academy, Chennai out of which 174 candidates for OTA Men and 67 candidates for the OTA Women. 1st September 2020: UPSC has released the final Result for CDS-2 2019 exam today (1st September 2020). All candidates who have applied for the CDS-2 2019 exam can check their result by vising the official UPSC website.

Result all information
- A total of 6727 candidates are qualified for the further selection process.
- SSB interview process for the qualified candidates will be conducted in July 2021.
- Candidates are requested to submit their original certificates to the preferred Academy. The original Certificates are to be submitted not later than 01st July 2021 for IMA & NA, not later than 13th May 2021 for AFA, and not later than 1st October 2021 in case of SSC course only.
- All candidates who have opted to join IMA, OTA as their first choice must register on the www.joinindianarmy.nic.in for the further process.
- If the address of any candidates has changed during this process then he must inform the respective headquarter for the same.

Important points- CDS-2 2019 exam:
- As per the result update, a total of 196 (106+76+14) candidates have been qualified.
- Initially, Commission has released the result for Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, and Indian Military Academy. The result for Officer’s Training Academy is under process and will be released soon by the UPSC.
- UPSC will also upload the Marks of all qualified candidates after the declaration of the Officer’s Training Academy’s final result.
- You will also get some candidates who are listed in all three lists.
UPSC CDS-2 2019 exam was conducted in September and the final merit list is prepared after the SSB interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Indian Defence Ministry for admission to the Indian Naval Academy, located in Kerala, Indian Military Academy which is located in Dehradun; and Air Force Academy which is currently in Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course.

Note:
- recommended candidates given above are those candidates who will have to appear for the SSB interview round. The number of candidates who finally qualified are those who has attended the SSB interview round also.
- The above list is subject to be modified after reviewing the Medical Examination given by the candidates. Result of medical examination will be considered for making a final merit list.
- This result is not the final result and just provisional result. Result may be changes at later stage due to further recruitment process. Document verification process is still pending and the candidates who fail in documents verification will not be entertained for any admission. Final merit list will also be updated after the document verification process.
- Candidates documents verification process has begun. Candidates will have to qualify in Documents verification process in order to get a admission in Indian Defence forces. All candidates can share their relevant documents to the different defence Academy. Documents are required to share a valid proof to support candidates qualification, Date of Birth, etc.
- In the mean time before final result it is also possible that some of the candidates have relocated to a different address. These candidates can inform the Army/ Naval/ and Air headquarter directly.
