Whai is AFCAT Exam?
Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by the Indian Air Force two times in a year for the selection of Group A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches of Indian Air Force all over India.

Eligibility Criteria

- Please note that if you are under 25 years then only unmarried candidates will be allowed to attend the course training.

Candidate must be physically and medically fit as per the criteria set by the Air Force.
Exam Pattern & Selection Process
Candidates must check the complete selection process in order to start their preparation according to the latest AFCAT exam pattern 2020.
Selection process will be based on five steps given below.
Candidates opting for Ground Duty (Technical) will have to attempt both Computer Based Test and EKT.

- The Online examination will consist of objective type questions and will be in English only for both AFCAT and EKT.
- Please note that for each wrong answer one mark will be deducted and three marks will be awarded for right answer.
- If candidates do not attempt a question than no marks will be given.
- Questions will be based on the metric system of Weights & Measures wherever applicable.
- Candidates are required to appear for the Online AFCAT in person.
- Indian Air Force decide the minimum cut off marks and can modify the qualifying marks criteria at any stage of the recruitment process.
(iii)-AFSB Interview:
All candidates who have successfully cleared the AFCAT test and EKT (for Ground Duty, Technical post) will be called for AFSB.
(iv)-Medical Examination
All candidates who successfully cleared the written test and AFSB Interview will be called for Medical Examination. If candidates performance in written test and AFSB interview found satisfactory then they will be eligible for the preparation of the final merit list subject to their medical fitness.
