CCC certificate course was recommended by the National Task Force on Information Technology and Software Development. It is designed by NIELIT ( National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology) to provide basic level IT and computer concepts knowledge to all people.

The main idea behind this course is to help common men to understand basic computer operations like sending emails, writing a letter, surfing the Internet, using MS Office, etc. so that everyone can perform basic computer operations and complete the desired work at a faster pace.

This course provides practical knowledge to all students about how to use a computer in daily life and for business purposes.

All candidates who successfully complete the ccc course would be able to perform basic computer operations like preparing any business presentation, making a small database, sending an application email to someone, surfing the internet and found useful information online, and submitting an online job application form, etc.

This course also helps small businesses and individuals like housewives to use computers and maintain their balance sheets or accounts and take advantage of Information Technology in their business.

CCC course is designed by NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology). It’s a government of India organization

This course is now mandatory for some government jobs also where a certificate is necessary to appear for the government exam.

You can find this information in government job notifications as well where they mention that a basic computer course certificate is required for this job. So you will have to attach a copy of your certificate if you want to appear for the exam of that government job.

Eligibility

There are no eligibility criteria for the NEILIT CCC exam. All candidates can appear for the exam.

There are three ways to attend the exam.

• Candidates can attend the exam through Institutes approved by NIELIT
• Some Government Schools/Colleges also conduct this exam. They will have to obtain a Unique Identity number from NIELIT for conducting CCC
• Candidates can directly apply

Duration

The total duration of the course is 80 hours , consisting of

i)	Theoretical Part	25 hours
ii)	Tutorials for exercise	5 hours
iii)	Live Practicals at the training centre	50 hours

The total course could be finished within 2 weeks with some extra hard work. If you attend the training classes from any computer institutes then you may be able to complete this course within 2 months easily.

Who can conduct the course

Some education institutes approved by NIELIT to provide CCC training. These institutes also conduct the NIELIT exam. Candidates can also apply directly if they don’t want to attend any training program and want to do self-study only.

CCC course fee

CCC course can be done from any computer training institute certified by NIELIT in India. The fee depends on the institutes you want to join for the course. Generally, the course fee is around 3500 to 4000 if you attend any private institute and it will take 3 months to complete the course.

If you don’t want to attend the training from any training institute and prefer self-study then you can apply directly on NIELIT official website by paying Rs 500 + service tax fees. a call letter will be sent to you at your address including the date and address of the exam venue. You can attend the exam by visiting the venue on the given exam date.

Exam pattern

Once you got the call letter for the CCC exam, You can visit the exam center. It’s an online exam and will be completed on a computer. Its an objective type question paper and a total of 100 questions will be asked.

Candidates will have to finish the test within 90 minutes duration. Candidates can start the exam by entering their Roll Number on the computer. Applicants can attempt all 100 questions as no mark will be deducted for any wrong answer.

Candidates will have to secure 50% marks to clear the exam.

After the exam candidates will get a grade based on the marks in the exam. Please check more information about the grade in below table

Exam schedule?

Please find below details about the exam schedule. CCC exam is conducted on the 1st Saturday of every month. The form can be filled in 2 months before the exam. Please find all details in the below table.

Online form

Candidates can apply for the exam by online mode. The online form can be filled at NIELIT official website. Candidates can fill the form till the last date of each month i.e. till 30 or 31 dates of each month. Please check all details before proceeding with online form filling. Candidates should provide all accurate details to avoid any type of rejection by the exam conducting authority.

Before filling the Online Examination Application Form (OEAF) candidates must have below-mentioned information/ Documents

• 1) A valid Email ID of the applicant to receive notification and further communication. Please ensure that Email Id is correct and working otherwise you will not receive any important email from NIELIT.
• 2) A working personal Mobile Number of the candidate to receive updates on mobile through SMS. Please provide currently working mobile number otherwise you will not receive any update from NIELIT.
• 3) Latest scanned Passport size Photograph (3.5cms x 4.5cms), Signature & LTI (Left Thumb Impression); all less than 50 kb in size and must be in .jpeg image file format. Please note that everything must be clear.
• Must have a Credit card, Debit card, online banking, or any other online patent information ready.

How to fill the CCC online form 2020:

Step #1: Visit the official website of NIELIT at student.nielit.gov.in (see below image).

Click on Apply Online button on the right side of the website (Check above image).

Step #2: Now you will be on another page. Click on the Course on Computer Concepts link from the list (see below mage).

Step #4:Now on the next page select the checkbox on the bottom of the page and click on the “I Agree & Proceed” button (see below image).

Step #4:Now you will be on online form page (see below image). Complete the online application form by providing all information. After filling in all details candidates can click on the “Submit” button to proceed with the online payment.

Step #5: After submitting the application form candidates can pay Rs 500 + GST fee through online mode. After the fee payment candidates will get the fee receipt and application form copy. Please take the printout of both for future reference.

Note: Candidates must provide accurate information such as Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, etc. Information will not be changed after submitting the application.

Admit Card

Candidates can download their CCC Admit Card 2020 from the official NIELIT website only.

Applicants can easily get the Hall Ticket by completing all the below-given steps:

• The first step to click the next link and open the NIELIT website at https://student.nielit.gov.in/
• Click on the Admit Card link on the right side of the website
• Now on the next page click on the Course on Computer Concepts link.

  • Captcha Code
• After filling in the above information click on the “View” button to download your Admit Card.

How to download the CCC certificate

After the CCC exam candidates will receive a certificate online. Applicants will not get the Certificate through post or courier. Candidates can take a printout of an online certificate. Please follow the below steps to download the certificate.

Step #1: Visit the official NIELIT website

Candidates can visit the official website of NIELIT at http://www.nielit.gov.in/. Now click on the online services link under the services tab on the top menu(see below image).

Step #2: Click on download link

Now a new page will open after clicking on the online services link in the previous step. Now on this new page click on “Download Digitally Signed e-Certificate” (see below image) to visit the download page.

Step #3: Complete the form and download the certificate

Now in the third step, you will have to complete a form (see below image).

Click on the regular course and select the Course on Computer Concepts after Course For tab. Complete all other information such as year, month, Roll No., Date of Birth, enter the security code, and finally click on the submit button.
