What is NDA? NDA Full Form?
UPSC National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination commonly known as NDA Exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC for the admission in Indian Army, Indian Air Force, and Indian Navy.
UPSC NDA exam is generally conducted in the month of April and September.
All successfully selected cadets will get initial training at National Defence Academy located in Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra.
Selected cadets who successfully completed the program at National Defence Academy located at Khadakwasla, Pune will be sent to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Naval Academy (INA).
Indian Military Academy (IMA) is located at Dehradun, Air Force Academy (AFA) at Dundigal, Hyderabad, and Indian Naval Academy (INA) is located at Ezhimala, Kerala.

NDA Exam Pattern 2020
Candidates of the NDA 1 exam 2020 who are eligible and want to apply for the NDA 2 Exam 2020 may apply. They should, however, note that no separate written examination will be held for NDA 1 2020 exam this year.
The written examination will be common for the candidates of both NDA 1 & NDA 2 2020. However, the results of these two examinations will be prepared separately.

Union Public Service Commission today (10/08/2020) has released the UPSC NDA 2020 Admit Card on the official website. Candidates can download their Admit Card by entering their Registration Id or Roll Number.

Are Girls eligible for NDA exam?
No, Girls are not eligible for the NDA exam. Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the UPSC NDA exam. Girls can apply for the UPSC CDS exam after graduation.
What is the age limit for NDA exam?
The age limit for the NDA exam is a minimum of 15.5 years to a maximum of 18.5 years. Check the complete eligibility criteria here.
Can we give NDA after 10?
No, You can not apply for NDA exam after 10th class. You must have passed 12 th class to be eligible for NDA exam.
Does 12th Percentage matter in NDA?
No, As per the eligibility criteria of NDA exam by UPSC, Percentage does not matter. If you havee cleared your 12th class exam or still appearing in the 12th class exam, you can apply for NDA exam.
Is PCM necessary for NDA?
No, Its not necessary if you want to apply only for Army wing of National Defence Academy. But if you want to apply for Air Force and Naval Wing also then you must have Physics and Mathematics subject at 10+2 level.
What is NDA exam for?
